We had a tree fall down due the the storms a week ago and the sadest part was it landed on the swingset. But all is well in the back yard now, a crew of tree cutters came and evacuated the mess.

Grandma and Pa came up and brought goodies... the mickey mouse lollipops were a crowd pleaser from Jodi and Stevens recent trip to Disneyland--thanks--sticky sticky sticky!!!

He didn't make the top this time, but we are still proud of yet another 2lb crappie--this one's for you Katie!

Practicing for school pictures --Big smiles (goofy)

Oh teething, the joys of teeth! It landed daddy and baby on the floor for the night, what a cutie!
My latest fun--the necktie onesie--saw it on http://homemadebyjill.blogspot.com/ . Great gift idea.

Slidin together --they are at a really great spot in their relationship--I just want to bottle it for later!

F-I-S-H out of water

No this blog is not only snapshots of the small joys of our life...
Yes, sometimes our husbands do things to make us proud.
2lb crappie -- fish fry approaching!

I am quite certain that 10 years ago, I would never have envisioned that
I would be home watching my children play in the dirt and I'd be in the kitchen (barefoot)making loaves and loaves and loaves of Amish Friendship Bread while my protector was out hunting for our next meal...what twist and turns our lives take.

Sandbox fun with friends

We love the swings too!

The Lyd was lovin' Johns paci's

Some sweet smiles from our giggles

Spring Sprung

Spring is here...

Spring Break

We had a very nice visit to see family friends in Texas...

Above, Julia enjoying choc chip pizza then enjoying some live music...

Then on to our Cousins...

Of course, we can always find a way to fish on the way home...

And this Easter, Julia learned that "Jesus had a boo boo on his leg"

What are they teaching them in Children's Church? Her innocence is bliss!
