What a fun week we had. Having Nana here has been the best! We spent the mornings taking little miss to Fairytale Dance Camp. She had a "ball" and made some sweet new friends. One day we had pictures laminated that Nana had received from the children. We also spent a few mornings at Wal Mart doing the usual like getting photos developed, losing greenie blankets, going to fetch lost greenie blankets. The afternoons were spent around the kiddy pool, watering the garden, enjoying the fresh veggies from the garden...

And danced in the water...it was sooooooooo hot today, the little man was there. He just stayed under the umbrella in the stroller to keep cool. We are so glad to have Nana here for a visit!

Alaska

Atlast, some photos from our trip. Above we are standing on flatop mt in Anchorage.



The scenery was absolutely breathtaking.

Highland's Spring Program

We had a tree fall down due the the storms a week ago and the sadest part was it landed on the swingset. But all is well in the back yard now, a crew of tree cutters came and evacuated the mess.



Grandma and Pa came up and brought goodies... the mickey mouse lollipops were a crowd pleaser from Jodi and Stevens recent trip to Disneyland--thanks--sticky sticky sticky!!!

He didn't make the top this time, but we are still proud of yet another 2lb crappie--this one's for you Katie!

I am quite certain that 10 years ago, I would never have envisioned that

I would be home watching my children play in the dirt and I'd be in the kitchen (barefoot)making loaves and loaves and loaves of Amish Friendship Bread while my protector was out hunting for our next meal...what twist and turns our lives take.
